Recent events reflect a confusion about what is “sexual” with what is “sexist”.

Bettina Arndt says “harmless flirtation is not sexual harassment” and I agree but to many people, even an invitation for a drink is a subterfuge for a sexual encounter.
It may be that Mel McLaughlin’s response could be considered positive, but I just wonder if no man ever made a pass at her, how would she then feel?
Not just her but too many women sadly, genuinely, contest that even at work, such suggestions not only make them feel uncomfortable, but that they are almost criminal.
