Hi-tech hooks

COMMUNITY action is needed about technology that endangers children’s lives. Parents, teachers, police and legal authorities among others need to take the initiative in response to the “stalking epidemic.”

One address is to understand why young children are participating in this behaviour in the first place. What psychology is driving this? Where are these children learning these behaviours at such a young age?

If one can ascertain why some children bully and harass others, let alone threaten them so harmfully, it could reduce the incidence to a few rather than hundreds.

Perhaps many adults could seize the opportunity and redress their own online bullying to become respectful role models.
