The woke wardens of Britain won’t simply fade away

The British election shows that the working class do not now necessarily identify as Labor voters. The British working class has abandoned its traditional base as it has become more prosperous and less proscribed in its political ideology.

Freedom of enterprise, individual opportunity and the right to dissent are precious tenets of a democracy. Greg Sheridan summed it up succinctly by calling Labor polemic “ideological insanity”. The British have enjoyed many years revelling in middle-class lifestyles, clearly determined to maintain their liberty of choice and challenge for the future. Labor should comprehend that a working-class identity is now an anachronism, no longer electorally relevant.
